Meet Angelia “Angie” Howell, owner of The Posh Fox of Roaring Gap.

Angie and her husband, Lee, live part of the year in Roaring Gap, NC, and part of the year in Clarksville, VA. They love the North Carolina mountains and eventually hope to retire full-time in Roaring Gap.

Angie, a native of Angier, North Carolina, studied art at Peace College. Over time, her love of art drew her to discover a passion and talent for interior design. When The Posh Fox of Roaring Gap went up for sale, she jumped at the opportunity to take on a new challenge and find new ways to share her unique sense of style with her friends and neighbors.

“I guess you could say that I have always loved retail,” says Angie, “and because the business is small, I get to know my customers and develop a nice rapport with them. My shop is not trendy, but tradtional and reflects the love of the outdoors and nature found here in the mountains in it’s decor.”

When she isn’t manning the shop, you can find Angie golfing, gardening, or riding one of her four horses.
